The four holes on the back of a TV or monitor must be in the center in order to safely rotate the device （see example below). If the holes are off–center, it is still possible to mount the TV or monitor in portrait or vertical orientation, but not to rotate.

Description

If the four VESA mounting holes on the back of a TV or monitor are centered, it is ideal for safely rotating the device, as shown in the example below.

If the mounting holes are not centrally aligned, there is no problem with rotating the TV. However, during installation, it is advisable to initially opt for vertical mounting. This allows you to adjust the position of the two TV bracket arms horizontally, ensuring that the TV’s weight is evenly balanced from left to right.
